Can you be more specific?

Of course, and your devotion to detail definitely speaks for you. To make it easier for all of us, we have divided the process into two phases. We call them “Phase One” and “Phase Two”. What? Pretty lame naming, you think?

The First Promotion: After a few days, the selection of accepted games will be published and promoted. Gear up for the visibility.
The First Pitch: You are among the selected teams? Then you will pitch your company and your game to an expert jury in closed online sessions. Our tip: Focus on your team, your marketing strategy and why your game fits your target audience!
The Feedback: All pitching teams receive a detailed feedback document on their pitch, game and strategy by members of the expert jury. Whatever the outcome, we hope to give you valuable information about how to improve the creative and business side of your endeavour.
The First Cut: Our expert jury decides about the best teams that will pitch their game in the final round. We call this round “Phase Two”

What about the second phase, what did you call it again, “Phase Two”?

Yes, you’re right, ”Phase Two” it is, your memory cannot be tricked, which definitely helps with the pitching. The next phase consists of:
The Mentoring: You are among the best teams and moved on to Phase Two? Then you’ll get  intensive 1:1 consultancy and mentorship sessions on game design, business and marketing by members of the expert jury, powered by MeetToMatch.
The Preparation: After being consulted by your mentors, you and the other finalists have now time to prepare for the final pitches and implement your mentors’ feedback.
The Business Finals: The finalists enter the arena for the first day of the live pitching competition and showcase. It’s like Gladiator, but without the blood and guts. In front of an independent final jury consisting of renowned game industry professionals and in the presence of selected partners, influencers, marketeers and media, you present your game and impress with your pitching skills. This is followed by individual business meetings with cooperation partners who are interested in your game.
The Public Finals: After one rest day, the finalists enter the last session, the public finals. You ask rightfully what the difference is between the Business Finals and the Public Finals? Well, we don’t want to give everything away yet. Just this much: They are interactive and playful, less business, more fun, like a show among lots of friends and other well-meaning people. These sessions are streamed to the public and will gain some nice visibility! You not only present your games in front of the jury, but in front of a public audience who wants to join your community.
