Marie Amigues settled in Berlin in 2006 after living in Paris, Ottawa and New York. She is the CEO and founder of Altagram. Following her studies in Philosophy at La Sorbonne, Marie obtained an MBA in marketing management at Essec. In 2017, Marie was selected as one of the Top 10 Women in Management in Germany’s gaming industry. Passion, hard-work, and expertise are the driving forces behind Marie’s accomplishments. She has brought together a team of over 150 talented in-house game localization specialists who have successfully shipped over 4,500 game titles since 2006 for prestigious clients such as Square Enix, Supercell, Blizzard and SEGA, just to name a few.
Oscar joined the games industry in 1998 and has been involved with marketing, design, monetisation, development, launch and operations of numerous market leading games services and technologies; including pioneering the first recorded in-app purchase method for mobile games. He has played leading roles in ground breaking games projects from BT’s Wireplay, 3UK Game Platorm, PlayStation Home and is now an Evangelist at Unity Technologies. Jokingly refered to as ‘The Godfather of Mobile Games’ at PocketGamer London, he is also a Mentor for games accelerator GameFounders and co-founder of Rocket Lolly Games – producers of successful Kickstarter project “The Rocky Horror Show: Touch Me”.
Rebecca is the CBO of the Swedish game development studio Landfall Games. Rebecca studied East Asian Studies and Sociology at both Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg and Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing and already started working as a freelance Event Manager during that time.
After a stop in Beijing at the Book Information Center and working as Project Manager on various China related projects in Online Marketing, she discovered her love for the games industry and is now Head of BerlinBalticNordic.net. An initiative run by media:net-bb and funded by the EU to connect the games industry of Berlin with the Baltic Sea, Nordic countries and beyond. The BBN.net network is constantly expanding and aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and nurture possible business cooperations through direct matchmaking and networking events. Throughout her diverse career Rebecca has always shown a strong passion in connecting people across borders.
Martine Spaans started her career in online gaming over a decade ago and has worked for well-known companies like Spil Games and Ubisoft before setting up her own F2P Gaming company. She has worked with more than 1000 developers and has taught herself a good understanding of gamers needs. She runs Mobile Game Publishing label Tamalaki.com; In cooperation with FGL.com we help indie developers to push their casual games to a diversity of app stores.
